Fabric Jiu-Jitsu: Must Watch

Championship Sunday at the IBJJF Pan No-Gi Championship produced enough finishes for a highlight reel of its own, and it leads a week that also runs through the Turin International Open, where Pawel Jaworski kept collecting gold, and Polaris 39 in Doncaster, where the main card delivered an arm triangle.

1. Eight finishes on finals day

Highlights · Pan No-Gi 2026, black belt finals

Plenty of Sunday's finals in Secaucus never went to the scorecards, and FloGrappling cut eight of those submissions into one reel. Jaworski and Sarah Galvão both left New Jersey with double gold, and every champion is in our Pan No-Gi results.

2. Five golds in three weeks

Pawel Jaworski vs. Kristiyan Krastev · Turin Open No-Gi, open class final

Pawel Jaworski has turned the fall into a victory lap. The Academia Gorila star won 88kg at the ADCC World Championship in Kraków, swept medium heavy and the open class in Turin two weeks later, then did it all again at the Pan No-Gi, according to ADCC and IBJJF results. This open class final against Kristiyan Krastev of GF Team, a bronze medalist at the 2025 European No-Gi Championship as a brown belt, is the middle stop of that run.

3. Academia Gorila's other champion

Sebastian Patyk vs. Sid Tavolaro · Pan No-Gi 2026, adult brown belt middle

Jaworski was not the only Academia Gorila name on top of a podium in Secaucus. Martyna Kapuścińska won women's medium heavy, and brown belt Sebastian Patyk swept middle and the open class, according to IBJJF results. FloGrappling billed this one as a European prospect against an American one, with Sid Tavolaro of Standard Jiu-Jitsu across the mat on Friday.

4. Fifty two seconds

Artur Osipov vs. Andy Sukandar · Turin Open, middle final

Blink and you miss the shortest final of the week: the IBJJF's video of this one runs 52 seconds from start to finish. Artur Osipov, a CheckMat black belt from Russia, took gi middle gold in Turin, with Andy Sukandar of Roger Gracie Academy in silver, according to the weekend's results.

5. An arm triangle in Doncaster

Julia Livesey vs. Shye Lilly · Polaris 39, main card

Julia Livesey closed out her main card match against Shye Lilly with an arm triangle on October 3, according to Polaris. FloGrappling released the full match this morning, and the rest of the card is in our Polaris 39 results.

6. Swiss gold in Turin

Anaïs Vintalas vs. Violet Bennett · Turin Open, women's medium heavy final

Anaïs Vintalas of Geneva DJJS took the women's medium heavy final from Violet Bennett, and Bennett also took the open class, according to IBJJF results. The Grapple Collective black belt from Great Britain won medium heavy at the 2025 European No-Gi Championship as a brown belt.
