Ashlee Funegra Enters Feather at the 2026 Orange County Fall Open: The Reigning World Champion at Light Feather
The 2026 world champion at light feather is the only black belt woman at gi feather in Costa Mesa this weekend.
Ashlee Funegra, the reigning world champion at light feather, is registered at feather for the Orange County Fall International Open on October 24 and 25 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California. She’s the only woman in the division, and no stream has been announced.
Funegra won the world title at brown belt in 2025, then the black belt world title at light feather in 2026, after winning the European and Brasileiro titles in the same division earlier in the year.
She’s No. 6 in the women’s gi ranking as of October 22, and she also holds the 2025 No-Gi world title at light feather.
