Two weeks later, he defends his IBJJF Crown title in Long Beach. The IBJJF posted the brackets for this weekend’s three Opens on Friday morning. Eleven divisions across Orange County, Nashville and Boston have only two black belts, so their first match is the final. None of the three Opens has an announced stream, and every time below is the IBJJF’s bracket time, which can move during the day. No. 20 in the gi ranking as of October 22. - **Luiz Victor**: 2026 American Nationals champion at medium heavy, silver at the 2026 Europeans and bronze at the 2026 Pans. No. 22 in the gi ranking. Venancio, of Atos, is the third man in the division. Luiz Victor faces the loser at 11:18 AM, and the final is at 11:50 AM. He also won no-gi ultra heavy there over Pietro Emanuel, and he’s in the ultra heavyweight field at the IBJJF Crown.
